Square One, An Introduction to Quilting
This class introduces to the student the world of quilt making. While geared toward the true beginner, the class is open to anyone wishing to learn time-tested techniques on piecing a sampler quilt. The entire quilt-making process including tools of the trade, fabric types, machine-piecing, and binding will be taught. Each student should be capable of winding a bobbin and threading their sewing machine before the first class.

While geared to the beginner, this class is appropriate for any one wishing to improve their piecing and accuracy. Student should be able to thread their machine and wind bobbins.
Requirements:
Sewing Machine in Good Repair
Fully wound bobbin
Seam Ripper
Fabric Scissors
50wt Cotton Thread
Rotary Cutter and Mat
Acrylic Ruler 8.5" X 24.5" OR 6.5" X 24.5"
