Learn the art of Hand Quilting with Judy Wright!
This class introduces the student to traditional hand-quilting. Although many modern quilters choose to use the long-arm machine-quilting method, others have continued the age-old process of quilting by hand. Historically, the quilting "bee" was a social opportunity for women to get together to visit and exchange news while creating something beautiful and practical for their homes. Many quilting clubs still enjoy this valuable time to bond with fellow quilters!
This introduction to hand quilting class teaches you how to achieve the small and even stitches that turn your quilt top into a family heirloom. This class discusses tips, tricks, and tools of the trade to complete a traditional circle feather quilting pattern.
